We welcome you to the School – seminar with international participation “The diagnosis and treatment of bone tumors”, which will take place on May 13-14, 2016. The seminar will be held on the basis of the Russian Children’s Clinical Hospital in Moscow.
The school-seminar with international participation will bring together specialists directly involved in the diagnosis and treatment of bone tumors in order to exchange experience on the issue of early detection of malignant neoplasms and reducing the mortality rate from them in Russia. The participants of the event will be pathologists, radiologists (specialists in radiation diagnostics), oncologists and laboratory assistants of histological laboratories (departments). The expected number of participants of the school is no more than 80 people.
The program of the school-seminar will cover the most relevant topics in the following areas:
- Modern approaches and possibilities of radiation and morphological diagnostics of bone tumors;
- Questions of staging benign and malignant bone tumors;
- Principles of surgical treatment of benign and malignant bone tumors;
- Spindle cell and pleomorphic bone sarcomas;
- Discussion and analysis of unknown complex cases.
During the program of the seminar, there will also be a training practical part for laboratory assistants on the use of modern methods of preparing histological preparation. As part of this part of the seminar, laboratory assistants will be able to test reagents and consumables for histological studies of a Russian manufacturer.
