We invite you to take part in the school-seminar with international participation “Difficulties and mistakes in dermatopathology”.

The seminar will be held on June 24, 2016 in St. Petersburg under the auspices of the Russian Society of Pathologists on the basis of the State Medical Institution “St. Petersburg Clinical Scientific and Practical Center for Specialized Types of Medical Care (Oncological)”.

The program “Difficulties and errors in dermatopathology” is a practical seminar that includes an analysis of 100 diagnostically complex cases of skin pathology. Among the cases proposed for analysis, clinical situations from the field of dermato oncology occupy a leading place, however, cases of non-tumor pathology (tumor-like, infectious and inflammatory diseases), as well as extremely rare pathological processes are also included. All drugs will be presented in the form of high-quality digital slides, accompanied by brief clinical information.

The lecturer of the seminar will be Professor Thomas Menzel, Germany.

The objective of the seminar is to familiarize participants with the main approaches to the diagnosis of skin diseases, which are based on clinical and morphological comparisons, as well as to present the results of therapy for these diseases.
